A Pakistani propaganda account (intel_DOI), linked to the DG ISPR and known for spreading fake and fabricated content against India, has been permanently suspended following consistent reporting efforts by our team to X (formerly Twitter).

This account was notorious for pushing false anti-India narratives and misinformation. Below are some of the misleading claims it circulated.
The account falsely alleged that two Indian pilots and 250 Indian soldiers were killed during Operation Sindoor in May 2025. In reality, official reports confirmed only five casualties among Indian armed forces during the conflict with Pakistan.

It shared a digitally altered video of Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, falsely claiming he had admitted to the loss of 250 soldiers. The video was proven to be manipulated, General Dwivedi never made such a statement.

The account also claimed that Badakhshan and Faizabad airbases in Afghanistan were being used by India. These claims are entirely baseless. Fayzabad Airport is a civilian facility under the Afghan civil administration, and there is no recognized military base in Afghanistan named Badakhshan.

Several other fabricated posts were made by this account, screenshots of which have been documented for reference.

Despite its continued attempts to spread misinformation and circulate fake videos targeting India, we at the Indian Cyber Defender team closely monitored its activities and consistently reported them to X. After sustained efforts, the account has now been successfully suspended for violating platform rules on misinformation and coordinated propaganda.
