At the recent winter AAS meeting, Michael Katz volunteered for t at the PhysCOS booth talking with folks about PhysCOS and other areas of NASA and astrophysics. Katz also participated in the Multimessenger LISA workshop that took place on the Saturday and Sunday before the official start of the meeting. He worked with a group of undergrads and PhD students using codes for and discussing the process of what will happen when LISA detects a Massive Black Hole Binary: how will we detect it with gravitational waves? How can we pinpoint where it is with our gravitational wave observations? How can we pass this information in the most useful format to the EM astronomers for follow-up observations? What kind of EM observations can we make of this source? It was a very productive workshop where DEI issues were discussed within the community and how to approach various situations that may arise over your career. Finally, Katz presented his work on the LISA global fit as a talk during one of the AAS parallel sessions.
