India and Oman signed an MoU for cooperation in culture, while appreciating a proposal by India’s culture ministry to recreate a maritime voyage of a stitched ship, crafted with ancient knowhow in India. The plan is for the ship to sail from Mandvi in Gujarat to Muscat in 2025-26. Both leaders said such a voyage would spotlight historical connections between the two countries.
