Fake Pakistani propaganda account impersonating multiple Individuals finally suspended

In a coordinated effort to counter anti-India propaganda, a Pakistani-operated account on X (formerly Twitter) has been permanently suspended. The account initially impersonated Gianna Floyd, daughter of George Floyd, and repeatedly changed its identity to spread fabricated narratives against India.

A timeline of propaganda activities

On July 18, 2025 the account impersonating Gianna Floyd, daughter of George Floyd, posted a tweet made by Punjab Police, which went viral. Indian Cyber Defender team detected the account and after a closer look it was revealed that nearly all its followers, retweets, and engagements come from Pakistani users.

On August 9, 2025 he briefly changed the username from Gianna Floyd to Vikram Patel (@VikramPatel124) and made a post saying “As a patriotic Indian, with sources inside the air force, I want my nation to know that Modi forced the Air Marshal, Amar Preet Singh, to make up a statement about downing Pakistani jets. With a gun to his head, Singh zee had to unwilling claim that as Modi wanted face saving”

Later, on the same day (August 9) he changed the account name from Vikram Patel to Vikram Singh (@VikramSingh397 ) and made another anti-India post saying, “Hello India! I am Vikram, first cousin of the female Indian pilot, Shivanghi Singh. The family has been unable to contact her for the last 3 months & the govt won’t allow us to speak. Please raise your voice for daughter of the Indian nation as we deserve to know her whereabouts.”

Following India’s dominant victory over Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025. This account made another post saying, “As an Indian, I am so ashamed to see our team refusing to shake hands at the end of the match, something that has never happened before in the history of cricket. I wish I was never born in this small nation”.

Throughout these activities, We at the INDIAN CYBER DEFENDER team closely monitored the account’s behavior and repeatedly reported it under categories such as impersonation, fake identity, and spreading false information. As a result, X ultimately suspended the account, cutting off another node of Pakistan’s online propaganda network.
